Alexander Gerasimov

A Mandarin (Turandot)

Born in St. Petersburg, Alexander Gerasimov studied at the State Conservatory in St Petersburg and the Mariinsky Young Singers’ Academy. In 2007 he joined the Mariinsky Theatre Opera Company. Recent engagements have included appearances at the Reinsburg and Aix-en-Provence festivals and Madrid Opera. He regularly takes part in the international tours of the Mariinsky Opera, taking him to the New York Metropolitan, the Paris Bastille, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands and elsewhere.
