Dan Karlström has had contracts with the opera houses in Gelsenkirchen and Darmstadt. Since 2002 he has been a member of the solo ensemble in Leipzig, where he has roles in the forthcoming productions of Arabella, The Flying Dutchman and La rondine. He has also made guest appearances at numerous other German opera houses and often at the Finnish National Opera. At the Savonlinna Opera Festival he has previously performed in Faust, Tristan und Isolde, The Tales of Hoffmann and Carmen.
