Lassi Virtanen

Altoum (Turandot)

Lassi Virtanen studied in Oulu and Vienna and has been a soloist at the Finnish National Opera since 1990. At the Savonlinna Opera Festival he has been assigned 15 different solo roles in all since 1991. During the present season at the Finnish National Opera he has sung the Holy Fool in Boris Godunov, Triquet in Eugene Onegin, Spoletta in Tosca, the Second Priest and the First Armed Man in The Magic Flute and Kriivari in The Ostrobothnians.
