Viktoria Yastrebova

Viktoria Yastrebova joined the solo ensemble of the Mariinsky Young Singers’ Academy in 2002. Her roles at the Mariinsky have included Iolanta and Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, Violetta in La Traviata, the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, Micaëla in Carmen and the title role in Madama Butterfly. This season she has sung Musetta in the Verdi Theatre production of La bohème in Salerno, and in 2009 she makes her London Covent Garden debut as Oxana in Tchaikovsky’s opera Cherevichki (The Slippers).
