Club Opera, the opera club of the Savonlinna Opera Festival, allows its members to get the very most out of the unique experience of a performance in Olavinlinna Castle. For at its best, opera is the most comprehensive of the arts, enriching the senses and creating an all-round experience. And you will find only the very best opera in Olavinlinna Castle!
As a Club Opera member, you can be sure of getting precisely the tickets and seats of your choice, and you can book them before they go on sale to the general public. You can study the season’s repertoire at leisure in advance with the help of the Festival handbook mailed to your home address. Your Club Card entitles you to attend the opera talks by leading experts before each night’s performance, and to a glass of sparkling wine in the interval in the company of like-minded people in the Castle’s Congress Hall. At the post-opera parties you can join in the most interesting discussions of the evening’s performance and meet some of the soloists. The other Club activities arranged during the season will also help you to learn more about opera or treat you to a real feast. In a league all of their own are the Club’s popular foreign opera tours twice a year – again all-round experiences.
Being a member of Club Opera means you also belong to the Savonlinna Opera Festival Patrons’ Association and are thus able to support, participate and influence.
